Happy new year!

I haven’t been on here in a while due to the busy Christmas/New Year Period, I have been very busy and I have some awesome things coming up over the next few months!

I went into LickLibrary in December to film the ‘Learn to Play Paul Gilbert’ DVD and I have to say I am really excited to see how it turns out. Its been a grueling 3 months of solid practice to get my chops up for this and I can’t wait to see the finished result. There is no definite release date as of yet however it won’t be TOO long 🙂

Here is a clip of me warming up on the first day of filming:

Ibanez were very kind to lend me a Paul Gilbert signature model guitar, its the FRM250 and its limited edition, it is an awesome piece of kit, here is some improvisation with a low gain sound so you can hear how awesome this guitar is!

If you are in the UK in February on the 19th in Kent then you could be lucky enough to attend an awesome masterclass/performance I am taking part in with Tom Quayle, Lewis Turner and Levi Clay! Check the video below for more information and links!

My Friend Douglas has put together an awesome instrumental cover of ‘The Bad Thing’ by Periphery. He asked me to lay down Mark Holcombs’s awesome guitar solo. Check it out!

In other news I have lots of exciting projects coming up, some of which I can’t say right now but they are just around the corner so please be patient! I am currently busy learning a College production of Queen’s ‘We Will Rock You’ Musical, and I get to play loads of Brian May solos, can’t wait! 😀
